Counting and potty training

Today Lexi counted to 6. Usually we say one and she copies and we go up to ten, but today she said one so I copied her and she went til 6. Pretty exciting for a one and a half year old!

Also the other day we were on our way to the park and she said "poo potty" so I told her to hold it, totally not thinking she would or could. Sure enough she waited til the park and she was on the potty and she pooped. Then two days ago she came up to Chris and said "poo potty" once again so he took her the the potty and for the first time she went pee on the potty! YAY!

Oh yes.....

This is what I have been waiting for, for about 18 months..... pigtails and pigtail braids!! We just turn on Dora or Backyardagains and she sits so perfectly.... most of the time!

Fletch

So we decided Lexi needed a pet, so we went out and bought her a hamster.
We named him Fletch,(as in the movie from the 80's) We probably should've named him better for her though, sometimes when she says his name it sounds like F***. Oh well she'll get it one day. We built him a huge cage/ jungle gym, with tunnels everywhere.Chris has the most fun with the cage. It seems we redesign it every time we clean it. Which is a lot cause hamsters kind of stink. Its a lot of fun. As far as Lexi goes she loves petting him and watching him in his cage. We have to be careful with and him because she get so excited then gets really rough. All in all we really do love Fletch.

So I am a major slacker and haven't posted anything in forever, but I fully intend on posting this week.
