Its Been A Long Time

Hi there!! Well I was going to stop posting on here, because I have a ton of pictures on Facebook but I have changed my mind. I probably won't post often but for major events or if I have free time I will for sure! Speaking of free time, I don't have much of that anymore, as I got a new job at Starbucks. I have been working there part time for a month now. STRESSFUL! Last Sunday I finally felt less overwhelmed and more confident so I am very excited about this! Its a pretty good place to work! I ma just starting to get to know some of the regular customers, and they are fun! It will be some time yet before I learn their "drinks" though.



Lexi's 1st hair do! If you can see, I put a little clip in her hair! I think it lasted about 2 hours in her hair so I was happy with that! I so can't wait for the pigtails though! This is Lexi and her friend Izzy! Last time they hung out they actually played together! Its so wonderful when a baby becomes a kid! There will be many play dates to come thats for sure!

And this is Jakob, Lexi's other friend! It works out well when we go over to Denise's to "play" her kids take turns napping so Lexi gets each one to herself!

Wow its been a month....

So, I am a slacker. What has Lexi been up to the last month... nothing to much really. We really have just been doing the same ole stuff. Hung out with family a couple times and have gone to the park. I really wish I had more to talk about but I don't. Here are some pictures to catch us up on the last month!

We got Lexi this new chair from the Outdoor Depot, the other day, and it is her favorite thing ever. If she is watching TV we will put her in it and She will sit and watch for ever (if we let her). So here are some pictures of her in her chair!

A Day At The Park

Gosh I haven't posted in a while... I'm so sorry! Well these are pictures of us and Lexi at the park, first taste of grass, haha, lawn grass...not whatever else you were thinking... and just playing with us! She loves the freedom of the outdoors there is nothing really for her to get into and she can just crawl around like the crazy kid she is! I can't wait for summer to be here so we can go out and let her play everyday!!

This Weekend

This weekend we had a ton of fun! On Friday I got to go out all day with Denise Siemens shopping!! It was wonderful! I bought a new swimsuit and we went out for dinner at the Olive Garden! Free bread and Salad it was amazing!
On Saturday Lexi and I went to Denise Friessen's son Jakob's 2nd birthday! Lexi was a little overwhelmed with all the "new" people but I had a great time just hanging out in the great outdoor's. They have a HUGE back yard and all the kids were just playing and having a blast.... Gosh I really want a backyard now.
Then on Sunday we went to Oma and Opa's (Chris's parents) house for Oma's birthday! Lexi had a blast.... Gosh I really want a backyard now.

Peek a Boo I see you! Lexi loves hanging in her saucer... but not the normal way. She will crawl in to the bottom of it and play!

This is our new little puppy! She will crawl all over the house holding a toy in her mouth, when she feels like playing she stops and takes it out of her mouth, then when she is done back it goes in her mouth!

Today I woke up and realized the sun was shining, so off we went to the park! As you may be able to tell in the pictures, Lexer LOVES the swings so much! She loves it when Chris pushes her nice and high. The higher the better for her!
I so can't wait to take her to Playland this summer!! Our little dare devil!

Poor little sick chick....

Lexi is always so excited to see the cats... if she is eating she will stop if one of them walks by. It is so annoying but kinda cute! So here is a picture of Lexi with Booker. By the time I could get her to look my way Booker had ran away.... what a smart cat!















Lexer has been so sick the last week. It has put a toll on all of us.... she wakes up in the middle of the night and can't breath then she gets all pissy if we wipe the snot off her face... Sheesh.... Finally there was a light at the end of the tunnel, she has been so happy!!! Yay! She still has a bit of a stuffy nose and a tad of a cough but it is very manageable and we aren't dodging flying snot anymore! So needless to say we are very pleased!!














This picture was taken today... we were laughing so hard and searching for the camera for like 2 minutes and the snot bubble stayed so.... yeah I had to post it! I think this is the best thing I have ever seen!!

Anyways.... I hope everyone gets a good laugh out of this picture, cause we sure did!

Yay Canucks!!

So I guess Canucks won this game.... I really have no idea about what goes on with Hockey. I like to know who is playing and who is winning, but as far as watching I really don't feel the need(unless of course I am there at the game). So me and Chris went for a walk and I am guessing that the Canucks won because within minutes of the game ending the streets were full of people honking and hanging out of windows!!! Then just in case we didn't know this some one very kindly yells "WE WON IN OVERTIME" as if we didn't know that we won... but it was nice anyway! Hmm.... Maybe I should watch a couple games or something so I can see what all this fuss is about, seems like it could be fun.










Here are some pictures of Lexer, we got her ears pierced over a week ago but I haven't been able to take a really good picture of it until a couple days ago. So finally I went in her room to wake her up one morning and she was sleeping perfectly, so I took some pictures, then I decided I wanted it black and white so I had to get a program to that for me... finally I have a picture!!















Here is Lexi doing her best at standing... She loves that shoe box, she pushes it around and hits it, yeah so needless to say we have a big shoe box in the middle of our floor... oh well as long as she likes it who cares.

So last night Lexi found the Bongo Drums, she was playing them
and playing them I took a video of her but as soon as I wanted to take a picture she stopped. Oh well! She is such a goof sometimes. I don't understand how she figures out how to make the faces she makes, but she does and she makes us laugh... so I am sharing these so hopefully she will make you laugh. Sigh* silly little kid!

I can't wait for the weather to get just a little warmer so I can take her to the park and get more exciting pictures of her but for now my living room will be the back drop! Anyways thanks for looking and feel free to comment I love comments!
